Dr. Kevin Schindler

Dr. Kevin Schindler

Welcome to the Veritas Yellow Group. I’m a San Antonio native, attended medical school at UTHSCSA and completed my internal medicine residency program here. I joined the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2008. I have enjoyed working with medical students and residents in our affiliated hospitals. I became a Veritas faculty mentor in 2010; it has been very excited to see so many of our students go on to have such great success. I have interests in medical student education, physician-patient communication, and clinical skills instruction. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and have taken up organic gardening (with varying success).

Jamie Archambault

Jamie Archambault

Hey! My name is Jamie Archambault and I'm from Houston, TX (Clear Lake, to be exact). I graduated from UT Austin in 2013 with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. While in medical school, I have been involved in the Pediatric Interest Group, Health Education and Literacy Program, Student Run Free Clinics, and of course the Veritas program. While medical school has certainly been a stressful time, I have loved the experience and wouldn't trade it for anything. I am pursuing a residency in Pediatrics, which was my initial interest when starting medical school! In my limited spare time, I enjoy running, reading mystery novels, and traveling to visit friends. I can't wait to meet all of you, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!

Lauren Paraison

Lauren Paraison

Hi Friends! My name is Lauren Paraison and I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts. I grew up on the east coast, but my family relocated to Dallas about 10 years ago. I went to Tufts University in Massachusetts and majored in Spanish. After college, I was a pediatric orthopedic clinical research coordinator at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. While in medical school I've been involved in global health trips to Guatemala, community service learning projects, and multiple student interest groups, including the OB/GYN Student Interest Group. In the future I plan on continuing my dedication to women's health as an OB/GYN specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. During my free time I like to spend time with friends and family, take kick boxing classes, watch documentaries, and explore different cuisines. I'm very excited to be your MiM! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

Rohan Adiga

Rohan Adiga

Hey everyone! My name is Rohan Adiga and I am from Austin, TX. I graduated with a degree in Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. In the year between graduating college and beginning medical school, I worked as a consultant for a large electronic medical records company, which allowed me to travel around the US and acquaint myself with the rest of the country. Currently, I think I am interested in some sort of primary care specialty, but that's subject to change based on how third year rotations go. In my spare time, I like to keep up with sports (namely Longhorn athletics, Spurs basketball, and US soccer), try new restaurants, participate in trivia nights, and play board games.
