Passport 2015

 

Join us for Passport 2015 on Tuesday, April 14, 2015! All medical students, residents, and fellows are invited to participate in this poster presentation day by submitting a poster for a research, quality improvement, or patient safety project. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top presenters. Advance registration is required. An abstract or final poster is not required to register.

2011 Medical Student Research Day     

113 posters were available, and 40 faculty members volunteered to participate in judging. Imran Aslam, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Medical Research Fellow, gave a lunchtime presentation on the many research opportunities at HHMI. Dr. Daniel E. Hale, Division Chief of Pediatric Enocrinology and Diabetes at the School of Medicine, was our Distinguished Speaker, and inspired students through a presentation of his career path into Pediatrics and research.

Dr. Rachel Giese, a former UTHSCSA medical student, gave a lunchtime presentation on the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and its many research opportunities. And our Distinguished Speaker, Dr. Francisco Gonzalez-Scarano, Dean of the School of Medicine, inspired students to search for more research opportunities.
